Enough. The people demanding understanding from both the fandom and the members have shown none to ENHYPEN, who spent the past four months carrying the consequences of a decision they never made. Let’s stop rewriting history. ENHYPEN didn’t make a member or fans leave. They didn’t choose this chapter, nor did they deserve everything that followed. They became the targets of boycotts, harassment, disrespect, piracy, and constant efforts to discredit everything they worked so hard to protect, with people even calling them a ruined group. In March, during ‘HELLO, MELBOURNE,’ they asked ENGENEs to continue supporting them so they could keep going. Instead, they were left to face the consequences of a decision that was never theirs to make. The easiest thing in the world is to stay silent and let everyone else carry the fallout. The harder choice is knowing that the moment you speak, you’ll become the next target, and doing it anyway because your members deserve someone to stand in front of them. JUNGWON made that choice. A leader protecting his team is not selfish. Asking people to respect the group standing before them is not selfish. Choosing peace over another cycle of division is not selfish. What’s selfish is expecting ENHYPEN to keep carrying a burden that was never theirs just to satisfy people who refuse to move forward. Just admit you hate it when the idols you expected to silently endure your disrespect remind you they’re human. The member who left already made his own decision. That was his right, and we should all respect it. But respect for that decision should never require ENHYPEN to spend the rest of their lives paying its price. We all believed in a future with the seven of them because we were promised one. We held onto every word about staying together until the end. We built years of love around that promise. Yes, that future was taken from us, and from JUNGWON, JAY, JAKE, SUNGHOON, SUNOO, and NI-KI, and we all have every right to grieve it. No one’s stopping you from grieving, as long as you respect ENHYPEN. What we do not have the right to do is condemn the six who stayed for refusing to let ENHYPEN end with it. They’ve carried the blame, the backlash, and the loud disrespect long enough. If you still insist on making them answer for a decision they never made, then you’re no longer defending the promise you grieve. You’re only making sure the people who stayed, who kept ENHYPEN alive, and who chose to keep fighting for all of us are forever punished for choosing not to let ENHYPEN end. So stop lying about what JUNGWON actually said. He never told people to leave the fandom. He addressed the people who continue to ignore ENHYPEN’s wishes by insisting on “ENHYPEN is seven,” continuing the old fan chant after the group had finally made their position clear, and repeatedly creating conflict that he explicitly said was distracting them during concerts and dividing the fandom. He spoke after discussing it with all five members. He made it clear he was speaking on behalf of all six of them. You can’t invent a statement, react to that invented statement, and then blame JUNGWON for it. If someone chooses to stop being an ENGENE just because ENHYPEN asked us to respect who they are today, that’s their own decision. Don’t place that responsibility on the six members who simply asked for peace & respect. If your response is to insult JUNGWON, ignore his words, and insist you know what ENHYPEN wants better than ENHYPEN themselves, then this has never been about respecting the members. It has been about refusing to listen when their truth doesn’t match your expectations. We’re done watching people talk over JUNGWON and twist ENHYPEN’s words into something they never said. We are done watching ENHYPEN be treated as though they are responsible for circumstances they did not create. So just leave them alone! And yes, YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE IF YOU ARE SOMEONE WHO GOES AGAINST ENHYPEN’S PLEA!
