Publication alert🔔. As digital health systems expand across the Global South, questions of who controls data, whose knowledge counts, and who ultimately benefits remain urgent. In this policy analysis, Ahaki-affiliated Authors critically examine Uganda’s digital health data ecosystem, advancing a case for governance frameworks that are inclusive, equitable, and decolonised. The article calls for approaches grounded in local realities, accountable to communities, and aligned with principles of health justice.
