You spearheaded an effort to repeal a $75 billion funding increase allocated to ICE (to help rid our country of illegal immigrants) and to redirect it to Medicaid, through which illegal immigrants received $27 billion over a 7-years time period through a little something called Emergency Medicaid, according to an October 2025 report by the National Immigration Law Center. You are the same man who used to rail against “millionaires and billionaires (until you became a millionaire and restricted your rants to just billionaires), yet you have increased your own wealth by an estimated $6 million to $7 million in total gross income since first entering Congress in 1991, and making yourself part of that 1%. During this whole time, you have made no personal contributions to benefit poor children’s health care charities. You can’t make this stuff up.

I have mixed feelings about the Confederate flag. While it was the banner of the Democratic South, which fought to preserve slavery during the Civil War, it’s part of our national history and should be preserved as such. However, I would personally never fly one as I understand its history and do not support what it represents.

Hey, sweetie… Poll taxes were implemented by Democratic-dominated legislatures in Southern states following the end of Reconstruction in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. These taxes were intentionally designed as Jim Crow mechanisms—also instituted and enforced by the Southern Democratic Party—to disenfranchise newly enfranchised Black Americans and poor, working-class whites.
