@HMRCcustomers Myself - as said, this is the process I follow every year. After filing, I need to get in touch with you on X. The online chat systems don't connect me to an adviser. Then somehow I get through after the social media poke. Very frustrating!

@HMRCcustomers Yes, it is. I can't use the online process as I'm a non-resident and I don't have a UK ID. This is an issue I have every year.

@HMRCcustomers How are overseas tax payers supposed to digitally identify themselves if they don't have a UK passport? Also, how can I initiate an online query (eg: online chat, email, message via portal, etc)? Are any of these not valid options in 2024?
