@Some_Eventful A6: Probably being able to paddle a canoe solo. I’ve never had to cancel a trip because of odd numbers in a group, last minute dropouts, etc. Everyone should make the effort to learn. #WeGetOutside

@Some_Eventful A2: avoided getting one for the longest time, but I upgraded from a SPOT to an InReach. Just having a semi-reliable wind forecast on longer trips is such a huge advantage with bigger water crossings #WeGetOutside
