@tobyg2026 @HotSotin The tide was toward capitalism in time in the post. that reversed in 2008. China has been slowly moving to be more capitalist for a very long time. The western world was wildly more free and has been moving more socialist. The benefits are displayed in delayed outcomes.

@elonmusk I do think Ai will be deflationary, but universal high income is a dumb idea. Human interaction will be the new in demand economy as Ai automates most of our day, we will value the parts the Ai can’t automate, which is human to human interaction.

@elonmusk Truth is, it’s all about maximum resource utilization….so even if humans are more useless after ai, putting human on government payments isn’t good for them or the economy. Humans will value live and direct humans interaction after ai automates their life.
