British tabloid Daily Mail reported that the woman who was gang raped on the Lahore-Sialkot motorway in 2020 was a ‘French tourist’.
This is a misleading and a misrepresentation of facts. The woman was a French citizen of Pakistan origin.
“The notification is fabricated. No such order has been issued by the Cabinet Division or the Ministry of Maritime Affairs,” the information ministry said in a statement.
The government has dismissed a notification circulating online that claimed the Cabinet Division has ordered the “temporary suspension of all port entries across Pakistan” due to security concerns until March 10.
This is evident by the voice distortions and does not synchronise with Nasir Abbas's lips or resemble his voice.
The original video was posted on YouTube of his interview on a TV channel. In this video, he is not heard making the alleged remarks.

A video shows Senate opposition leader Allama Raja Nasir Abbas claiming that Pakistan allowed the United States to use its airspace for strikes against Iran.
The video is digitally manipulated with an audio recording. The political-religious leader has not issued such remarks.
The video circulating on social media relates to Ahmadinejad appearing at the funeral of the mother the former Chief of Staff Hasan Mousavi. The video was posted on an Instagaram Feb 15.

There were earlier reports that Ahmadinejad was killed in an airstrike on Tehran on Feb 28, 2026. This was later refuted by his party and an adviser said he remains unharmed. Iran state media has not confirmed his status.

A video shows former Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad with claims he is alive and appeared in public after surviving an assassination attempt.
The video is old and has resurfaced after a US-Israeli attack on the residence of the former president in Tehran.
The video has glaring inconsistencies and glitches such as the flame, building structure and onlookers walking into one another – a common feature of AI content. This was further confirmed after being analysed by AI content detection software.
The video gained prominence as Iranian drones struck several targets in Dubai. A drone was also spotted close to the iconic skyscraper.
Social media users such as this spoof account are posting fake videos and spreading misinformation amid regional tensions.
A video shows the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building in Dubai, set of fire with the claim that it was hit by an Iranian drone strike.
The claim is false and the video is AI-generated with no connection to actual events.
There are no reports of an attack at the Nur Khan airbase or any military installation in Pakistan. No evidence, visuals or credible sources have been provided.
The fake news is part of the disinformation campaign by Indian media amid recent Pakistan-Afghanisten tensions.
Indian media outlet, NDTV, and other social media accounts reportedly that Afghanistan has attacked and destroyed the Nur Khan airbase near Rawalpindi, Pakistan and destroyed aircraft.
❌The news is bogus and fabricated.
There are no verified or credible reports indicating that the video is recent or related to an Iranian missile strike in Dubai.
There are no reports of an attack on an alleged CIA office in Dubai. The news is fabricated and intends to spread discord amid regional tensions.
The footage relates to a fire that broke out on a residential building in Sharjah, UAE, more than ten years ago in October 2015.

A video shows a fire eruption in a high-rise building with the claim that the CIA headquarters in Dubai was targeted in a drone strike by Iran.
❌The claim is baseless and misleading, while the video is old unrelated.
The video shows clear signs of AI generation. The Arabic text on the “Check-in” signs is gibberish, and a man appears to walk through a barrier, a common AI glitch. The setting imitates an airport and does not match the actual layout of Dubai International’s terminals.
A viral video allegedly shows the moment a drone strike hits the Dubai international airport as people are seen panicing after the attack.
The video is AI-generated and deemed fake. While the airport was targeted, social media has been flooded with recreations and fake videoes.
The accompanying is old and unrelated. It has been circulated on social media since at least August 2025.
Thus, the claim that the video shows panic and chaos after a drone strike in Peshawar are false.
There has no drone attack in Peshawar. Pakistan confirmed small drone attacks in three cities – Swabi, Mansehra, and Abbottabad .
However, there have no casualties reported. Pakistan brought down the drones using anti-drone systems.
Indian social media accounts shared a video claiming a drone attack by Afghanistan in Peshawar city of Pakistan with reports of casualties.
The reports are false and bogus, while the video is old and unrelated.
