Are you using app based authentication to update all of your Intune apps through Graph? Then you may want to read this.... Microsoft updated the docs! It now mentions that Multi Admin Approval can also intercept app auth Graph calls when they modify a workload protected by an MAA access policy. And!!!! At the same time, a new App exclusion option showed up in the MAA access policy experience... (and something else as well) That part is important.Because without that exclusion, trusted automation can suddenly get pulled into the approval flow and will silently fail with the error: x-msft-approval-justification required So, if you have enabled the MAA access policy for Apps... This impacts third party tools, scheduled scripts, and every vibe coded app that modifies/updates Intune apps through Graph. The fix? Either make the automation MAA aware, or use the new App exclusion option for trusted automation identities.
