@l_ja_kas It's both fun and annoying to work with kanji. You get to see how character's meanings are versatile in terms of use which is fun but you also get the feeling you are missing some basic usages for them.

Interesting, Northern Azerbaijani uses the word kartof, borrowed from Russian, for "potato," would Southern Azerbaijani uses yeralma (literally "earth apple" and possibly influenced by Persian سیب زمینی?)
