Thanks Benoy. You have illustrated why a request for an echo is always a request for an echo opinion not just a test. (in this case don’t do the test and treat the patient (really fast)). Medical culture pushes people (inc me) to organise tests without understanding the disease

@BrHeartValveSoc @DrFBE @SSharmacardio @HenningBundgaa1 Heart valve disease is so beyond general cardiology, as the day’s speakers and several complex, challenging - indeed epic - case studies proved. A fascinating insight that gave me as a patient a very real sense of being in safe hands.
