@CatGodSandHive @DsMatie I think it’ll just be a bunch of people making apps and essentially throwing things at the wall and seeing what sticks. It’s really not that hard to get through the approval process, but I can’t imagine they’re gonna have very good retention with users.

Back from the NYC event (thank you @liam_at_shopify, @eytanseidman, and @darius_gai again!) and more excited than ever for @ShopifyDevs IRL events 👏 Got to see some great people like @brendamarienyc, @TalktoHenryJ, and @Pierre_WebDev (wish I would have got more pics!) Went ahead and launched the Editions.dev channel in @ShopDevAlliance today so we can start planning and chatting about it. Really excited for all the awesome events in Shopify Dev land this year. @TalktoHenryJ I had the same thought about marketing. If you hire someone to help you with your marketing without taking the time to understand any of what’s going on, you’re gonna end up wasting money. I wasted $3000 on so called “content marketing experts”

@DsMatie I just submitted my first app for review and about 2 weeks ago I felt exactly what you mentioned in your post. I was constantly worried about what could go wrong. I’m still worried now but you’re right. It doesn’t need to be perfect.
