@Browne_Anthony_ Agreed. However this happened in a broader climate; the most chilling part was how the police were set upon the journalist. On LinkedIn nobody ‘corporate’ dared to raise their head against the daft supportive posts as that’d still get you cancelled quicker than you can say HR

@joan_rolson @Jenny_1884 Same here, I’ve spent several month-long backpacking holidays there and many scuba trips. Common sense is required over food and scammers but it’s worth it.

@TwoTraps84 @Jenny_1884 Been many times. The scuba diving is among the best in the world. Cairo is crazy but buzzing with lots to see, the sites round Aswan and Luxor are stunning. The downsides are the usual mass tourism issues, and the need to be careful where and what you eat.
