@jdeposicion 2/2 Fernandes provides balance in the center while attacking. Imo it was surprising that Xavi didn't answer fast despite the fact that these substitutions were to be expected. Imo, Xavi should clarify additional tasks in order to anticipate on changes from the opponent.

@jdeposicion 1/2 Weghorst didn't play well, Sancho as 10 didn't really work and there was a lot of space in the back of Balde in the first half. A logical substitution would then be to go for players who can run in behind, he creates that with Rashford as a striker and Antony on the right.

The only way to ‘kill’ a defensive system as PSG where playing is by switch the play fast and very important: taking more risk! This principle will force pressing triggers for PSG instead of walking backwards. Spaces where on the sides but PSG wanted to press on these long passes

PSG playing in a dynamic 442, Bayern in a 3151. A game which you can win by dominating the half spaces. Imagine Messi, Neymar and Mbappe playing in the 3151 system.
