@yabaleftonline One time I traveled from the UK to Nigeria with just a carry on. Someone traveling with excess luggage begged me to check in two bags for her. Without thinking about it I did. Fortunately, nothing happened. But would I do that again today knowing what I know? NO!

Doctors are increasingly observing people in their 20s and 30s experiencing joint pain, stiffness, and early degeneration once typical of individuals decades older, largely driven by sedentary lifestyles, poor posture, processed diets, and chronic low-grade inflammation. Prolonged sitting and lack of strength around joints can weaken connective tissues and accelerate cartilage wear, raising the risk of early osteoarthritis or gout-like symptoms. Modern habits place continuous stress on joints without the protective benefit of regular movement and muscle support. According to Harvard Medical School, physical inactivity and excess inflammation are key contributors to premature joint degeneration, but they are also highly modifiable risk factors. With consistent movement, strength training, and improved nutrition, many younger adults can slow, halt, or even reverse early joint decline.
