I want to reiterate this: The fact that Russia is now confident enough to do attacks in Europe, is because we did nothing when their drones entered Romania a few years ago. A long chain of doing nothing after doing nothing that emboldened the Russians to escalate more and more.

Just so everybody understands… Lindsay Clancy told her husband to go get food a long way away. She then, one by one, took each of her little children down the stairs into her basement and choked the life out of them with exercise bands. After finishing off the third child, she knew she couldn’t live with herself, so she tried to kill herself and failed. It’s now taking a jury of nine women and three men five days to convict this woman. The deliberation should’ve lasted one hour.

Europas größte Schwäche ist, dass das Menschenbild seiner Politik einer bildungsbürgerlichen Wunschvorstellung der Zukunft & nicht der Lehren und Perspektiven der Vergangenheit entspricht. Deshalb begreifen wir nicht, dass ein Putin bereit ist Millionen Menschen für einen verwüsteten Landstrich zu opfern. Wir haben den imperialistischen Faschismus vergessen. Deshalb verstehen wir nicht, warum China, auch 100e Jahre später, die Erniedrigungen des 19. Jahrhunderts rächen will. Wir haben den viszeralen Patriotismus verlernt. Deshalb ignorieren wir dass ein erheblicher Teil der Muslime Migration & Eroberung gleichsetzen und jedigliche Anpassung an den Westen verweigert. Uns ist eine alles durchdringende Religiosität einfach fremd geworden. Deshalb halten wir die barbarische russische Kriegsführung die ein paar km von uns in der Ukraine stattfindet für eine Art Abstraktion und nicht die bittere historische Norm über Jahrtausende. Europa muss ganz dringend aufwachen, sonst überleben wir dieses Jahrhundert nicht.

Under socialism, there were food ration cards in Poland, and people had to queue for many hours to buy even basic necessities. S&P announced today that Poland is no longer an emerging market but a developed country, with a standard of living exceeding that of Greece or Spain. The only people in favor of socialism are those who have not experienced socialism’s misery and poverty themselves. Don’t listen to them. They have no idea what they are talking about. Why do so many otherwise intelligent people believe the socialist nonsense despite so well documented history of its failures?

This illustrates the unbelievable growth in Poland really well. Wages in Poland doubled in just six years. As Poland remains the growth champion in Europe with almost no unemployment, they will keep going up. Capitalism works. Left mindset in other countries will make them poor

Ever since the invasion of Ceuta, I have had a strange feeling that the great tectonic plates beneath the EU are beginning to shift. The easiest part of the analysis concerns the political elite in Brussels and across the European capitals. Virtually every commentator has concluded that the episode proves exactly what they already believed. Not particularly surprising. But not particularly impressive either. Politically, much of this is about Pedro Sánchez as a person. He has completely exhausted his political capital. In the eyes of most European leaders, he has increasingly become “the red Orbán.” In other words, the man who stands in the way when it comes to investing in NATO, supporting Ukraine, pursuing a tougher migration policy, and countering China’s weaponization of globalisation. These are four strategic priorities that 80–90 percent of EU countries want to advance. Sánchez has chosen to oppose them. That is why the letter from the 22 heads of government should largely be read as a message to Sánchez: “Don’t even think about pulling an Angela Merkel on the rest of us.” But this is also about what I have previously called “Grievances United”: the coalition of states, led by Russia, China and Iran, that takes pride in frustrating and obstructing the West. One of their preferred instruments is the weaponization of migration against Europe. Four out of five EU countries have now had enough of that. My expectation is that we are likely to see rather drastic measures in the near future. No cooperation, no aid. Sanctions against countries that wage hybrid warfare against Europe. Measures of that kind. Then there are the external borders. They now have to be closed. Otherwise, the EU as we know it will not survive. Because Schengen will eventually collapse - and with it, a large part of the Single Market. And by closed, I mean properly closed: barbed wire, physical barriers and armed border guards. Reception centres in third countries. A genuinely tough return and deportation policy. If that does not happen very soon, we will soon see entirely new faces occupying government offices across Europe. The centre-left is crying foul. But there is really nothing that can be done about that. If I may be just a little unkind - and only a little - it is almost always a sign that you are on to something. The European Commission does not really know what to do. It writes letters here and there, as it usually does, and holds press conferences and the like. But it is not an easy situation when France remains one of the countries whose government still does not seem to have grasped the scale of what is happening. We shall see how this unfolds in practice. But one thing is already clear: the tectonic plates beneath the European Union are now moving.
