All these subnets are catastrophic, can only survive through emissions, and the DEV's and Co. can't get enough out of the subnet without it arousing distrust and people quickly getting their investments out of the subnet. The only way to quickly earn a lot of money with the subnet is to fake a "hack" in order to get the money without any problems. In addition, you do not lose your face, have made a fortune, and can continue to run the subnet and earn money in a relaxed way. But the big money was already earned by the "hack". This is not an isolated case that subnets are "hacked". To those who to this day mercilessly lick his balls on Const and call everything FUD: All your predictions have not arrived... The competition is in place, but Bittensor still has no place there.

Hey, Bitcoin and Ethereum were also "hacked" once, so everything is cool, is nothing bad. Well, then "hacks" or rather "Rug Pulls" are welcome. Everyone says Bittensor is better, and has more potential than anything else... but as soon as you express criticism, you compare it again with Bitcoin and other blockchains. So no better. The statement "even with Bitcoin" alone shows which project is really the king.

I’ve had several discussions about this already, but unfortunately they keep getting ignored by Opentensor because they simply don’t want it. Some of my suggestions also involved reducing centralized power and control, which Const and the team react very negatively to, because maintaining control over Bittensor is important to them. Even though they publicly act like they only want what’s best for the ecosystem, that’s unfortunately not the case. Opentensor (Const and Co.) are capitalists. It already starts with treating cold storage + multi-sig as something they „recommend“. That shouldn’t be a recommendation, it has to be a must-have. The same goes for longer conviction periods and time locks on withdrawals. If a key gets compromised, the hacker shouldn’t be able to drain everything within minutes. Instead, it should take days or even weeks, giving enough time to react, freeze the funds, and secure everything. Then, whenever a „hack“ happens, which is often not a real hack at all, but subnet owners/teams themselves doing it and labeling it as a hack to save face, we need much better monitoring tools. As soon as any unusual movement occurs, there should be an immediate alert so action can be taken right away, instead of only finding out when it’s already too late. On top of that, every subnet gets hyped up, even when they have nothing to show for it. It still gets promoted because certain people are involved and run disgusting marketing campaigns just to attract capital that the subnet doesn’t actually deserve. The capital flows in simply because “trusted” people are behind it, making it look legitimate. They need to actually give up control, completely, not just pretend to. We need real on-chain governance and genuine community control, not the centralized power structure we’ve had so far. But that’s exactly why Opentensor (Const) doesn’t want it… because they’re capitalists who love power. I’ve brought up all of this multiple times in the past, but no one wanted to listen, because it’s simply not what they want. No matter what constructive criticism one expresses, all the community can do is cry and call everything a FUD. 99% of these people have no idea about all the technical indicators, and don't even understand the blockchain. Unfortunately, this is the truth. That's exactly why nothing will change, because for those who have the power, the current system is very lucrative, and they don't want to have changed anything. Unfortunately, it is so. Bittensor is always marketed with the fact that AI must be decentralized, and away from centralized units... but Bittensor is no different. There is no real decentralization. If the ego of the corresponding people were not so high, Bittensor would be much further.
