Hot starts we are skeptical of after 4 games: Chase DeLauter (incredible batted ball profile, but significant K% already, 28.6% chase rate) Wilyer Abreu (0.0% BB%, 86.2 MPH avg. EV, 42.9% hard hit rate) Connelly Early (hit hard despite low ERA, SL regressed in first start)
Hot starts we (kinda) believe in after 4 games: Yandy Diaz (61% hard hit rate, 94.8 MPH avg. EV) Daylen Lile (50% hard hit rate, using the whole field, continuing second half success) Emerson Hancock (only one start, but much greater FF usage, wicked Sweeper, more confidence)

16 hits for the Cougars, 10 for extra bases! BYU splits the road series against a good Hilltopper program. Coach Rardin probably wishes he could redo bottom 8 in G1, when he bunted two runners over instead of swinging. The Tops failed to score and gave up the lead in top 9.
The college games we are excited to watch today: • BYU vs. WKU (Tops lead series 2-1, bounced back with a DH sweep on Saturday) • Nebraska vs. Stanford (P4 schools squaring off) • Gonzaga vs. Hawaii (Bulldogs looking to even the series, Rainbow Warriors won the first two)
In all, his ability to get to a great swing position from his starting spot is a testament to him This isn’t an earth-shattering revelation, just appreciation for someone whose setup is unique It also helps his swing decisions are phenomenal…excited to see him this year!
Once he drops that foot back down, the front hip and back leg start to pull forward, but his arms, chest, and core stay back in their coil, while his hips remain relatively closed From there, his body unwinds and he punishes the baseball with impressive bat speed
