Joined the AIC Mukaa Region Women’s Annual Conference, at Kiima Kiu Secondary School and had the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions on education, the role of the Church, and the responsibility of government in building a just and prosperous society. I emphasized the importance of collaboration among families, faith institutions, educators, and government in nurturing responsible citizens, strengthening our values, and expanding opportunities for future generations.

I held an engagement session with the clergy of the ACK Machakos Diocese, in Machakos town, on the role of the government of the day and the responsibility of church leadership in shaping our society. We agreed that the Church has an important role in communicating the positive contributions that government makes to society, free from political machinations and partisan interests. The Church must objectively evaluate the work of the government of the day, applauding what is good, just and beneficial to the people, while courageously offering correction where actions or policies go against our values and the common good. This is the prophetic and moral responsibility of the Church.

Joined the faithful of African Inland Church (AIC), Mwea in Kaiti Constituency for a church service and thereafter a fundraiser in support of the construction of the house of God. It was a blessed time of fellowship, worship, and coming together as a community to support the work of God. Our work on earth is to do the best we can, to leave a better society for the next generation. Proverbs 11:25

Delighted to grace the Prize Giving Day of Mwaani Comprehensive School as the Chief Guest during this year’s Education Day celebrations, at the school in Wote, Makueni County. I emphasized the importance of hard work, discipline, resilience, and the courage to embrace failure as part of the journey to success. I encouraged our learners to remain focused on their goals, believe in their potential, and pursue excellence with determination. I also highlighted the critical role of teachers, parents, and other stakeholders in creating an enabling environment that supports quality education and outstanding performance. I was joined by Hon. Fred Muteti, Chair, SEZA; Dr. Andrew Mulwa of the Ministry of Health; Hon. Damaris Maweu of KEMRI; Hon. Mateso; Dr. Samuel Mutweleli; parents, and other distinguished leaders. Congratulations to the students, teachers, parents, and the entire Mwaani Comprehensive School community for their commitment to academic excellence. Joined family, church, friends, and leaders during the send-off of the late Boniventure Kimeu, a young man from Kiima Kiu/Kalanzoni whose life was tragically cut short in a road accident. We joined together to mourn, celebrate his life, and stand in solidarity with his family during this difficult time. May God grant them strength, comfort, and peace, and may Boniventure’s soul rest in eternal peace. My heartfelt condolences go to the entire Kimeu family and the people of Kiima Kiu/Kalanzoni.

Today, I joined the Mukaa AIC DCC Men’s Conference for a time of fellowship, spiritual nourishment, and worship at AIC Mukaa. The sermon by Rev. Justus Mutuku centered on the relationship between the Church and Government, emphasizing the distinct yet complementary responsibilities of each institution in shaping a just, peaceful, and morally grounded society. While the Church is called to provide spiritual guidance, uphold truth, and nurture values, Government bears the responsibility of ensuring justice, security, service delivery, and good governance for all citizens. We noted the need to respect and support the government in power, and to stand firm the right actions. It was a timely and thought-provoking message that challenged us to embrace our individual and collective responsibilities in building a society founded on integrity, faith, accountability, and servant leadership.

As Kenya advances its space ambitions, @Kenya_aist is committed to playing a leading role by collaborating with globally renowned institutions in the space sector to develop the talent, research, and innovations that will shape Kenya’s future. Through strategic partnerships with organizations such as the China National Space Administration and the Kenya Space Agency, Kenya-AIST will strengthen research, innovation, and capacity building in space science and engineering, contributing to Kenya’s long-term development and global competitiveness. Engagement with the Deputy Director General, Mr. Hu Zhaobin, of the China National Space Administration, and the Ag. Director General of the Kenya Space Agency, Brig. Hillary Kipkosgey.

It was a blessing to join the DCC church community at AIC Kima Estate for a church service, followed by a fundraiser in support of God’s work. I commend the congregation for their unwavering faith, generosity, and commitment to advancing the mission of the Church. I emphasized on the need to be wary of political leaders who preach lies and division, and outlined the projects and initiatives that the national government, led by President @WilliamsRuto , is undertaking. I was joined by Eng. Mutevu Kaluma and Principal Johnstone Ndolo. May the Lord continue to bless the church. Galatians 6:9

Deliberations focused on strengthening higher education systems through strategic partnerships, enhancing the positioning of higher education institutions, promoting internationalization, academic mobility, and cross-border collaborations for global engagement. The discussions also emphasized the importance of public-private-industry partnerships in developing relevant skills, ensuring sustainable financing for higher education, and fostering collaboration to accelerate digital transformation and AI-enabled higher education systems.
