Current Ai models do nothing other than predict tokens. They are not intelligent. The term Ai should really not be used. Llm's are what they are. Models of language. No intelligent awareness at all.

@elonmusk @IntCyberDigest But ai still hallucinates and outright makes shit up. Not just a little bit. It fully commits until directly confronted. Sometimes it remains committed to false claims even when presented with contradictory information. Token prediction is not intelligent. It never will be.

@LauraRbnsn But it certainly indicates people believed it to be important enough to make more copies. Surely they didn't do this with their limited resources for something false. The large number of manuscripts is not proof but it can't be denied as a legitimate piece of evidence.

@DeeWaynee94 Crazy how no matter what anyone says you just pass right by it. Reminds me of the honey bee. The bee doesn't try to convince the fly that flowers are better than dung because the fly has already made up its mind. Argument becomes folly in these cases.
