If L'pool & ManU had been in the 2nd/3rd Divs in 80s&90s,most of their Irish fans wouldn't be supporting them. You can never be proud of club that has nothing to do with you that you only follow because of success. Supporting your locals through thick&thin is 100% more rewarding.

Any Irish who hate Super League should be anti-Premier League, it's been our SL for years. Is like when Americans say "You'd all be speaking German if it wasn't for us". Wouldn't make much difference here, our language was already virtually destroyed by Germanic speaking invaders
