Complexity doesn’t impress it confuses. And his biggest edge? Obsession with experience. Not just what the product does, but how it feels. The small details, the simplicity, the story that’s what separates good from unforgettable. That’s why this MIT lecture still hits hard. Because while most people are building products… Very few understand why people actually buy them.

If you calculate PAYE in your organisation, employees may now need to claim reliefs to reduce their tax payable (rent, mortgage interest etc). To reduce your organisation’s PAYE risk, don’t just apply claims casually. Set up a process: - Standard claim form - Collect supporting evidence (receipts etc) - Signed declaration that the claim is genuine. Let it be clear that if claim is later found to be incorrect, any tax shortfall plus interest and penalty may be recovered - Keep a relief register/audit trail (who claimed what, when, evidence, approver). All these can be electronic. When tax authorities audit PAYE, a documented process plus clean audit trail usually makes the audit quicker, with low risk of additional liabilities.
