Jesus of Nazareth was from Nazareth. The Gospels contrived a reason to say he was born in Bethlehem in order to say there was fullfilled prophecy.

If you can name a moral idea/act you will always be able to find someone who thinks it's "good" AND someone else who thinks it's "bad." Don't confuse "bad" with "harmful" that's a different metric but even that has subjective elements.
