Il n’avait que 25 ans. Le militaire de première classe Julien Giffard du 1er Régiment d’Infanterie est décédé le 8 juillet 2010 au cours de l'opération Harpie. Elevé à titre posthume au grade de caporal, il avait alors reçu la Médaille militaire et avait été fait chevalier de l'Ordre national du Mérite. Une citation à l'ordre de l'armée, sans croix avec attribution de la médaille d'or de la Défense nationale lui avait également été décernée. Ne jamais oublier. 🖤
