By this time next week I'll officially be a professional pen tester at one place or another. Changing careers is hard but worth it.
@dz Two just last week. 1. I forgot the word "parameterization" and in a panic spit out "the thing in python with the percent sign." 2. A technical interview, he asked zero ?s instead gave a 10 min lecture on how my OSCP means nada and he never needed certs and I obv wasn't qualified

A buffer overflow: you’re making a cake following the recipe; you put in too many eggs and the bowl overflows making the ink run on your recipe; do it in a specific way and you can change the recipe enough to make a pavlova instead.
