I Asked Dr. Chang This Question. He Had No Answer. Yesterday I asked Dr. Chang a simple question: Was he aware that a US federal court in Massachusetts has already ruled that these TCN arrangements are unlawful? And that the US government is now appealing that ruling to the Supreme Court? Silence. No answer. Jamaicans deserve clarity on deals that affect our sovereignty, our security, and our reputation. If the US courts have questions about legality, why doesn’t the government? We cannot outsource Jamaica’s decision-making. We cannot gamble with agreements the courts are calling into question.
