In 2021, we evaluated three alternative propulsion layouts: triple-screw single-azimuth/twin-shaft hybrid (the original 2012 design), twin-screw all-azimuthing (similar to Le Commandant Charcot), and triple-screw twin-azimuth/single-shaft hybrid (which was finally selected).
