8 yrs old: With nothing particular going on Rohan raised his fist to the air and yelled, " One ring to rule them all!" He is my son.

"Mom, when I'm in high school I'm only gonna skip school when I don't feel like going." Yikes.

Helping Rohan put on a sweatshirt he says, "Thanks and I'm not on crystal meth." I guess that's good to hear?

Rohan's excuse for not writing on two pieces of paper for homework.. "I'm saving trees." I wonder if his teacher will buy that.

Age 5- Ro asked aunt cin to have a thumb war by pressing their thumbs together. Then she saw he had a glue stick. He glued their thumbs.

Mom: My tummy hurts and I feel fat. Rohan: That's just the diabetes kicking in. Mom: ouch.

Bedtime convo: This morning dad asked me what I wanted to eat. In my mind I said "the souls of the innocent". But out loud I said a bagel.

8: aunt Cin came back from vacay and brought Ro an eye patch and earring. He said when am I supposed to wear the earring? During puberty?

End of day car convo: Mom, I may have done something embarrassing. My pants may be on backwards. I'll check... Indeed. Huh.

Aunt Cin asked me and Ro which shirt she should wear. Ro said the first one did not make you look like a complete psycho. The 1st one it is.

"Mom! (yelling thru bathroom door) We're gonna need some scented candles in here." Sigh. #tenyearoldboys #hewasright

Rohan wrote an apology note to his teacher. He signed it anonymous. Why? I asked. He said, "Sometimes I go by that name." Yeah I bet you do.
