Season 1 and 2 are enjoyable if you meet them with the appropriate expectations for what they were, but bring the expectations for the later seasons when it grew into a proper franchise, and of course they’re lacking

@MangakaJ96 @literaturedevil characters, and those generally stay through the show. Fights go from amazing to inconsistent after the original creator’s death because he was the animation talent. Aside from that, it’s a show made by libs, so y’know. When it’s based it’s mostly on accident lol

Past that the quality is less consistent (season 5 was the worst, but V7 was the best written imo), but it’s not as terrible as many say (except season 5. Season 5 deserves all the flak). The show starts with strong world building and

@basedganyu Well, that’s going to be organized religion then because religions *can* be benevolent in the first place, and governments, while often benefiting certain people, are structurally incompatible with benevolence, so it will always take a step back to their actual priorities
