You’re telling me I can buy a Solana cat and get paid in actual $RAY just for holding it? Okay, hear me out. I know what you’re thinking., “Another fucking cat coin?” Fair. That was my first thought too. But then I actually looked into what $RAYCAT is doing and realized the meme isn’t even the interesting part. The interesting part is what happens every time people trade it. WHAT IS THIS? $RAYCAT is basically a Raydium cat built around a very simple mechanic. Every transaction carries a 3% tax and that tax is used to buy/distribute $RAY to eligible holders. And no, this isn’t an official Raydium project. It’s a community-run memecoin that went through a CTO after the original dev disappeared. Now here’s where I think it gets interesting, People see they’re getting paid in $RAY to hold. That can attract more attention. More attention can bring more volume and more volume means more rewards. It’s literally: Volume → $RAY → holders → attention → volume. And honestly? That’s the part I find interesting. $RAYCAT already had its crazy run. It went all the way to around $15M before bleeding back down toward the ~$2M area. So I’m not sitting here pretending we discovered this thing at $20k. We didn’t. The market already noticed it once. The question is whether it notices it again. Because underneath all the cat memes, there’s still a functioning reward mechanic, thousands of holders, and a very easy story to understand: “Hold this meme and get paid in Raydium.” That’s probably the strongest part of the narrative. I’m not saying $RAYCAT is going to $100M. I’m saying I understand the bet. You’re basically taking a leveraged bet on Raydium activity, Solana memecoin attention and the StonkFun reward narrative, with a cat sitting in the middle collecting $RAY. If volume comes back, things get interesting. If it doesn’t… Well, you already know what happens to dead memecoins. CTA So I’m watching this one.
