Received a report today that Navy Rear Admiral Aaron Rugh is actively undermining the DEI-removal initiatives ordered by the Commander-in-Chief. Admiral Rugh is a JAG Corps Officer and Chief Prosecutor in the Office of Military Commissions under OSD. According to the report, he is also a gay man “married” to another man and has an adopted daughter. Admiral Rugh said he was removing the “offensive language of DEI while maintaining DEI core values.” Admiral Rugh is no stranger to controversy as he was accused of lying during a prior case and was the subject of a judicial ethics investigation. In a hypocritical move by the JAG Corps this case was dismissed in 2016 after it was determined that his apparent false statement to the Board “was an honest mistake based on what he thought was true.”
