We could’ve called it “Tsarbucks”. A missed opportunity😂

We told Russia they couldn’t have Starbucks and they really said, “okay—now we own it, and we call it “Stars coffee”. Same great taste, no American demands met. 😂 They did this for virtually every brand that got sanctioned btw. Just made it their own.

@Shadzey1 I think we need to do an annual range day and bbq for our Japanese friends. In addition to being a lot of fun, they can bring the knowledge, experience, and motivation home with them. That would be helpful in kick starting a movement.

Do not allow foreigners to weaponize your empathy against you. They have chosen to immigrate to your country to enjoy the opportunities and society you have built. They do not get to enjoy these gifts and demand that you change your culture to suit theirs. It is happening all over the world. The process is very difficult to reverse.

This is happening in my country too. Our best and brightest are all working in finance and tech. They’re capable of working in any industry. Smart people go where they will be paid for their talent. There’s not a lack of smart talented labor. Most industries just aren’t willing to pay them. They’d prefer to import foreigners for pennies on the dollar. Don’t let them get away with lying about that.

@kohakuototo There is no such thing as a labor shortage. If an industry is not attracting employees they are not paying the market rate to attract employees. That’s how supply and demand work. They’re importing foreigners because they don’t want to pay Japanese workers what they are worth.
