So it appropriated the story to tell a shittier one like we said it would do it all along. Yup, thanks. Why do people keep reminding us why Nolan made it, btw? I don’t care why he made it or what he aimed to achieve. It looks good and sounds nice but is terribly written, paced, acted even. I think if you can’t accept that people value different things in movies than you, then maybe film ain’t the medium for you.

We’ve been chudding out about Wilson’s godawful feminist translation for years now, but Fate has played a hilarious and unexpected prank; Nolan’s feminist translator idol hates his movie more than we do! This critique is valid, but it is overly harsh in my opinion. HBO’s Rome walked so that Game of Thrones could run, and much of the production success of that show was learned from doing Rome. Rome didn’t quite land mass appeal and was very expensive to produce, but at its peak it feels even better than GoT and is probably some of the most compelling History Re-enactment put to film. It’s not totally accurate, but in nails a lot of the visuals, castings, writing, and spirit of the age, something that everyone is complaining rn that Nolan failed to do w odyssey

@ConsulofRome_ HBO’s Rome in many ways was the practice run for Game of Thrones. The swing of Rome Season 1 feels just as if not more perfect than GoT if you can believe it, but GoT just hit better and was able to go on longer.

This was single-handedly the most damaging incident of his entire career. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Nose-job industry shrank after this. @gielmont This game conflicts me because many parts of it are very well done, but then other parts are just repetitive fetch quests. Mass Effect Andromeda was made using the same engine near the same time, I think, and suffers many of the same problems.
