Travel is best when you're just living. I don't want to be ferried around to simply see every attraction with my eyes. Social media has destroyed that. Nothing is novel anymore. You can "see" the Eiffel Tower on Instagram any time. I want to just live with Parisian air kissing my face. I want to experience my same routines in a different jurisdiction. Enjoy good coffee. Do some work. Play tennis. Meet new people. All you have to do is add more time in your day for whimsical exploration.
This works, but I actually didn't choose the gym closest to me. I chose one with a wellness area. Because that's the thing that keeps me coming back, even on rest days.
If I'm already there, I might as well do a workout or stretch routine.
