This is very good. Adapted this to Pi Fabric’s review system. It not only reduces comments but improves the code, e.g. renaming a function to better reveal its intent instead of leaving a comment to explain the bad name.
Force your agent to address the core problem instead of justifying it away with “load-bearing” comments
@jamonholmgren yup, we ban comments in the grok bot codebase too. also made a skill for it. agents just seem to use comments as a way to justify some workaround or bandaid instead of addressing the core problem. over time you just get hacks built on top of hacks github.com/cursor/plugins…
