Since launching in May 2026, the Dyson Farming Research Centre has welcomed ~700 visitors. Trials show strong diversity testing practical agronomic solutions. At scale, this work helps us and our @ResearchDF members make science-led decisions for optimal performance.

Delighted to secure Defra funding via Innovate UK with Airponix. Their A‑frame fog-based propagation tech, now in our Lincolnshire glasshouse, will accelerate seed potato production and enable faster, lower-cost trials—scaled into real farm conditions
At @ResearchDF we use a 3‑gate model to turn ideas into impact: screen, test, scale. This Gate 3 demo combines 31 wheat varieties with 9 management strategies, testing biology, chemistry reduction & AI‑led agronomy. Yield data will be captured at harvest to inform next year.

Drilling the first of two @ResearchDF field trials for our DEFRA‑funded Innovate UK ADOPT project at Dyson Farming’s Leadenhall site in South Lincolnshire. Working with PGRO and Fen Peas to test establishment effects in modern vining peas under commercial conditions.

We’re delighted to welcome Christian Hollingbery to @ResearchDF as a PhD student based at the Dyson Farming Research Centre. Christian is studying soil microbiology and will lead a winter wheat biostimulant trial focused on reducing nitrogen use without compromising yield.
Our Crop Research Scientist Laura Briers recently shared key insights from last season’s trials with @DysonFarming operators, inviting them to challenge the results and help shape next year’s programme This feedback keeps our trials practical, relevant & rooted in real farming!
