@EchoesofWarYT In Ivan Eland’s “Recarving Rushmore” he ranks John Tyler the #1 best President. (Grover Cleveland at #2.) Chap did follow our Constitution, and he knew it would cost him.

@PetronellaWyatt What a dickweed. (Insult that I remember from my youth; no idea what it means but calling someone that was really really bad. This beastly schmuck Hilton deserves it and worse. Waste of good hemoglobin.)

@EchoesofWarYT I always wondered who was the more cantankerous SOB: Jackson or Calhoun. Wouldn’t want to cross either one of them.

@EchoesofWarYT Best tank of WWII when one considers EVERYTHING. Reliability. Ease of repair. Logistics: sized for mass road/rail/ship transport. Gyro stabilized gun. Fast turret traverse. Excellent ergonomics. Water ammo storage. & the 76mm tungsten core HVAP round. Legend.

@Habubrats71 Yeah I’m pretty sure I cannot watch it. I’ll just experience towering anger at the intentional errors against history.

@dogwoodblooms Black Eyed Susans are my favorite flower. And boy do we have a splendid crop this year. This ain’t even the half of it.

@dogwoodblooms Church ruins are the very best. Google Tintern Abbey. Wordsworth wrote a poem about it. I was there ages ago, on a dark & fog-laden night. Yes. Church ruins. Best way to help us understand Know Before Whom You Stand.

@MoMcCormick7 @donnyosmond @marieosmond One time a few years ago I was ill (I forget with what) & while lying in bed I watched the first Brady Bunch Variety Hour. I hadn’t seen it when it originally aired. This show cheered me up TREMENDOUSLY! Such such fun.

@PrezWisdom Clever, but at the same time, maddening. Seems that “All animals are created equal, but some are more equal than others” applies to free market democracies too.

@EchoesofWarYT Carter had poor performance in other areas, of course. With all our presidents, it’s best to be objective & avoid confirmation bias. In the end, you’ll feel better. Trust me.

@EchoesofWarYT President Carter abided by our Constitution more than most presidents since WWII. He also, along with only Eisenhower & Ford, did not start a war unconstitutionally, without asking Congress, who has that power. Camp David Accords were highly effective too.
