For the last 2 years I worked hard trying to find a way so I can work less for the 9-5 and more for my own company. During that period I lost the joy for app development and anything around it. 4 months ago I stepped away from working on projects next to the full time job. I just rested took a break, played a lot of games, focused on my life rather than work. This month I started working on a World Cup match predictor, which I can use for the leagues I play with my friends. I've used a lot of available data, poured my knowledge of the game into it. The results aren't that great but can't complain about the accuracy, but the most important thing is, I've found the joy again. I've said it to people before, don't force yourself, make sure you have fun while you grind and possibilities will come. For now I won't step back into the SaaS world, I will however continue having fun and probably convert this World Cup predictor into a La Liga, Premier League, Eredivisie and Bundesliga predictor.

Question for developers: How seriously do you take security? Is your CI pipeline automatically catching newly disclosed CVEs, or are you finding out about vulnerabilities months later?

@AlxTurovski You should normalise making tools that don’t make any money. What you’ve just build adds to your experience. If you launch it market it lightly no matter what. Try to find a way to link/ incorporate it to your main product. Any publicity is good publicity
