8/8 Update: no callback came. Contract is now cancelled and my PAC has been requested. The irony is incredible: EE contacted me to stop me leaving, won me back with a retention offer, then lost me because nobody could actually honour it. Stay away. Time wasters!

@EE @bt_uk 13 years as a customer. 5 calls. Around 3 hours on the phone. And apparently nobody can complete the renewal EE/BT called ME to offer. The short version: they won me back from another provider — and then appear incapable of actually keeping me. 🧵 (1/7)

@EE I am so glad you responded as my complaint has now been closed. Had to call back again to find out what happened and the result was “complaints team are an offline team and couldn’t find the offer on the system” …..

7/7 I’ve now raised a formal complaint. They are an offline team too 🤣 If this isn’t resolved, I’ll have no choice but to call back after 4pm to cancel my newly renewed mobile contract and request my PAC code too. After 13 years, what a way to lose a customer. @EE @bt_uk

6/7 To be clear, I’m not blaming the individual guide for an internal process they clearly don’t control. But this followed earlier calls where representatives chose to bad-mouth the provider I was moving… The whole experience has been astonishing.

@sama @OpenAI Is there any way you can look into increasing the Memories functionality please? It is such an amazing feature. Being able to 'jump straight back in' is a big USP!
