A fan asked me to add a The Binding of Isaac reference to Exjanitor. I added a chip that randomly spawns a knife above Zildo's head... you have 3-4 seconds to dodge it while dealing with bullet hell, other chips, and complete chaos. it's mean. i love it. #indiedev #gamedev

dressed up as a janitor just to make a pause menu. filmed it in real life, then animated frame by frame in pixel art on top. it's called rotoscoping. looks like one of those hyperrealistic SpongeBob scenes. i love it. #indiegame #gamedev

@kinetizen @MakoFukasame Sorry, what are you talking about here? The game has zero AI art; it's all hand-drawn by me (a programmer; that's why it's not really perfect lol). Maybe you just haven't seen this technique yet, it's called rotoscoping. Definitely recommend checking it out!

@Folkzweise Thanks for the feedback! Nothing is really "final" (ever). To give an example, I've seen a lot of comments here saying that the animation was a bit slow; therefore, I've already changed this in the game 😭
