Node.js has always fascinated me, not just for what it does, but how it does it. It’s built on a simple idea => keep the core minimal and build everything else as small, independent modules. That mindset is what makes it so efficient, and so uniquely “Node.” I recently picked up "Node.js Design Patterns (4th Edition)" by Luciano Mammino(@loige) and Mario Casciaro(@mariocasciaro), and it reminded me just how deep the platform really goes. 📗 The Book - amazon.com/Node-js-Design… They don’t just explain patterns, they connect them to how Node.js actually works: ▣ How the Reactor pattern powers everything under the hood ▣ Why async design isn’t just about callbacks, but architecture ▣ Streams as a fundamental design primitive ▣ The evolution from callbacks → promises → async/await ▣ Real-world DI, factory, and middleware patterns that actually fit Node.js ▣ Scaling and messaging patterns that make systems production-ready I genuinely enjoyed the book because it made the connection between the theory of the event loop and the practical design of a large application feel direct and obvious. Highly recommended.
