I have a very hard time answering this. 2003 was an injury issue. 2006 and 2007 those teams overachieved but 06 should haunt folks. The post title run of roster building failure, a total misread of the CBA, the market, all of it. That still stings.

@SJBasketbal8 That plus the apron stuff, it’s been crippling to teams. Throw in that EVERYONE has to get the max, roster construction is even harder. It will never pass because the stars have too much power, but the only fix, if things hold, is to lower the max so teams can pay others too
