@crawlyscubs Maton because of the contract he received. Neris and Pressly were both one-year deals that didn’t pan out. Hope Maton can figure it out and be effective consistently again

@calebwi18iams Would have loved to have Cease in our rotation. Should’ve signed Cease and added a decent platoon 3B option to pair with Shaw instead of signing Bregman. I like Bregman, but he isn’t the big bat he used to be

@Michael_Cerami This season has been beyond frustrating. Cubs are making Lorenzen look like a TOR pitcher tonight. He had an ERA over 8 coming in. Cubs should be lighting him up, not struggling to get just one hit

@Davey_Baseball I’m not worried about Nico, just wonder if he’s having side effects from being plunked in the head in SD still. I don’t think Dansby will ever be a guy to hit for a high or decent average. Think if he hits in the .220-240 range with 15+ HRs and decent glove work then you take it

@AdamSchefter Yes, he is a former Bengal, but he only played 4 games with them. Why on earth would you cite the Bengals and not the Buccaneers or Broncos?? He spent most of his career with those 2 teams
