Over 1,200 individual food items were collected by @NorthHillsCares through generous donations by community members who attended the holiday concerts performed by local schools’ choirs and bands. Thank you for your hard work for our community!

What a fantastic evening organized by North Hills Cares to benefit our backpack program and programs in other districts. The students who performed were amazing! We are very grateful for the volunteers who worked hard to put this night together!

In the spirit of a good rivalry Officer Spiker made a bet with Mrs. West, one of our Backpack coordinators. He pledged a dollar for every point PSU was able to score against Pitt IF the Nittany Lions won. Not only did he honor the bet, he generously exceeded the promised amount.

Weather made our job challenging this week, and our retired staff members went above and beyond. Our volunteers came through and made sure all food was packed and every bag was delivered. School is cancelled tomorrow, but the kids got their weekend food today. We are grateful!
