So #AB1482 passed in the California State Assembly. The bill is a huge step in the right direction. It is also not enough.
Today we made HISTORY!!! Just now, the CA legislature passed the Tenant Protection Act of 2019 and is on its way to @GavinNewsom desk to be signed! #AB1482 expands protections to 7 million tenants, covering more renters than any single tenant protection bill in recent US history!
