@fightelement I think if they carved out a specific exception into the gatling limit for 2H it could help with some stuff because its a little annoying to potentially hit the last part of your gatling chain but having no conversions because you NEED a launch to get a solo conversion.

I think beyond all of the little system problems that come together as a general larger problem with the game my biggest disappointment is how much damage routes like this do. Like this probably isn't optimal but being optimal probably isnt worth it over this.

@SolessSol And the fact that they are actively trying to box this out is a good thing, and gives me hope for the future, its just being told "hey we solved this problem" and then probably the most egregious example of it has seemed to slip through is a huge drop off from what I expected.

@SolessSol Realistically this is an extremely fixable problem, but they also advertised that they do not want this happening and implemented a system to stop it. Which is part of why it was disappointing when I booted the game up and saw that this is just what some characters do.

@L_Uomoletto @009Firework Thats why having braindead high damage combos is a bad thing. I want people to do the cool combos. If the margin between when a cool combo is worth doing and when a braindead combo is worth doing is so small you never actually end up seeing the cool combo that is the problem

@ninjakiryo If you're going to do a cooler route that technically does more damage to overkill, sure that's fine but you can definitely kill off of this route and almost any stray hit so the extra damage you would get from a cooler route isn't super relevant unless it literally tods.

@ninjakiryo Those aren't comparable to this route at all for me im sorry. This route is not optimal, as I said in the post, but none of the "better" routes that I've seen actually do a meaningful amount more damage that actually changes anything about how a match flows.

@L_Uomoletto @009Firework The boring combo literally has an advantage from being boring. If the boring combo did significantly less damage than the cool combo and you had to do the cool combo to get the kill more often being boring would be less of a problem.

@L_Uomoletto @009Firework You are in bracket playing for money. They are at 75% health because you tagged them with a small hit that still did 25% earlier in the round but you get a real hit. Are you going to do the undroppable combo that does 80% or are you going to do the complicated combo that does 84%

@ninjakiryo I have no problems with killing the fuck out of people in a tag game I just don't think buffering 1 special move 10 times in a row should do that? I think you should be allowed to fumble your resources by doing something this lazy and this shouldn't be anywhere near optimal.
