Very disappointing and short sighted move ending the GP fellowship scheme. I was mentoring a SPIN fellow earlier this evening : we both gained much from the session! A backward move in a climate when morale is low amongst younger GPs

I did years of child care courses then fell into nursing. A parent i was childminding for was on the nursing cadet scheme and she convinced me to try it. I have never looked back. I was a HCA and did my nursing via the Open University

This thread. It is reflecting what we are seeing on the ground. Problem is so much unseen work with GPNs., and we haven’t been good at articulating and demonstrating our worth. We need more GPs like this to recognise the risk and the organisational memory of losing GPNs
