Applied research is helping producers stay one step ahead of crop disease 🌱 @SaskPolytech researchers with the Sustainability Led Integrated Centres of Excellence (SLICE) are using drones and hyperspectral imaging to detect clubroot in canola fields — before visible symptoms appear. With over 90% accuracy, this approach can pinpoint small patch clubroot patches early, allowing targeted treatment and helping producers avoid costly field-wide losses.
