Apple “turns old iPhones into paperweights” by “banning” Factory Resets youtu.be/WYkCc_kZLbU *Due to Apple unsigning baseband for iPhone 5/4(s)/SIM iPad 4/3/2. This prevents factory reset/software update via PC (iTunes/Finder) Big thanks to @aaronp613 for breaking the news & updates To prevent any confusion, your existing legacy iPhone will work fine. However, if for whatever reason you need to reinstall iOS (messed up Jailbreak, phone bootlooping etc), this is not possible anymore, and your legacy iPhone/iPad is bricked. Apple has also unsigned iOS 6.1.3 and iOS 8.4.1. They still show up in software update though. Be advised, it's possible trying such update will just brick the iPhone/iPad you try that on!
Was bored so just bypassed Apple’s EU Alternative App Distribution checks (again) on iPad 10 iOS 26.5 🔥 Should I release a tutorial or just gatekeep? Last time I did this in iOS 18 and made a tutorial, Apple patched it in under 48 hours. AltStore PAL has like nothing on it?
@ssssssssselim @SnowLatch @Beautyon_ I tested and you are wrong. Here are pics of a US model (eSIM only) iPhone 14 Pro Max. Setup in US, with a US Apple ID & US Region set in settings. Yet, it asks for UK ID to be verified as it can tell I live here. I love being proven wrong, in this case you/OP are wrong
