Fauci responded 11 hours later in a tone suggesting that he's done enough and informed those who needed to be informed. The other internal emails question Dr. Weissman's motives but I would venture to say that his motives were to share truths that were inconvenient to those receiving them. Scientists, especially physician-scientists must be allowed to pursue scientific truth and publish their findings without fear of repercussions, having their reputations damaged or careers destroyed. I know something about this topic from personal experience. The future of scientific integrity and public trust in science is at stake. To give another example of massive malign influence by the fake news industrial complex, which totally dwarfs anything foreign countries could ever do, I saw in the new Slack messages released by Rand Paul that the Proximal Origin authors were not happy with me for an article I wrote showing that they received substantial funding from Fauci after publishing their paper. I wrote the article a long time ago, so I went looking for it to refresh my memory. But, lo and behold, I could not find it. No combination of keywords worked. So I dug it out from my own files and then searched for exact phrases from the article and even the exact headline. I still found nothing. I finally found it only because I had posted a link to it in an old tweet. And, of course, the article is still there in all its glory, but it has been buried and suppressed to the point where it might as well not exist. This is not some trivial piece of information. The public has a right to know that the authors of a totally fraudulent paper that shaped the Covid origin debate received substantial government funding after publication. Yet because Google and other platforms have decided, in effect, that this information should not be surfaced, ordinary people will never find it. The information exists, but it has been rendered invisible. So ask yourself this question: Am I more concerned about Vladimir Putin spending $10,000 on Facebook ads, or about powerful American institutions and companies systematically shaping what information the public can and cannot find? Which one should be considered the bigger threat?

I'm trying to keep up with the @SenRandPaul file releases but it is not easy. We seem to lack a clear-as-day picture but the sketch is pretty damning. It indicates a long plot by US intelligence and "public health" agencies, together with academic researchers, to manufacture diseases and countermeasures in league with both military and pharmaceutical companies.
