@Evando_Taylor @iamkennethchan View cones are also symbolic to what is pertinent to the city. In London it's St Paul's Cathedral pointing to a religious past, in Vancouver it's the mountains and the beauty of the natural surrounding. Not something we want to lose.

@iamkennethchan In London UK people are biking over 10 miles to go to work. Once you hit a certain density you need more space efficient methods for transit rather than personal cars.

@VanCzech @Ravenarie @VanPoliMorphus @mtnbvan It's similar as an international city. Reducing car traffic increases space for pedestrians + cyclists. A congestion zone worked in London to reduce traffic, why not here?

@TriciaBarker49 Seniors and disabled are all of the following: 1) pedestrians 2) cyclists 3) shared vehicle users 4) private car users The priority list is to protect the most vulnerable - pedestrians and cyclists. Be them abled, disabled, young or old!

@VanCzech @JohnCCoupar @TriciaBarker49 @NPAVancouver @ParkBoard I agree. Parks are for everyone. This summer, Stanley park briefly became a place where people of all ability could cycle safely. Now it'll be exclusive to car owners and lycra cyclists.

@talkRADIO My parents take in illegal immigrants as they go through Asylum claims. Some get granted asylum, some have to go back. These people often have nothing at all and are escaping conditions far worse than we can imagine.
